Last week saw us attend the Ergo Expo at Paris Hotel in Las Vegas and it was a total success and a great experience. There were many new attendees this year that were able to try out all of our products for the first time. We were also able to show off our newest manufacturers and their products, that did not attend last years Ergo Expo
Mousetrapper, Score and Sit Stand Smart Mats attended the show for the first time and we received tremendous feedback on all their products. Our staple manufacturers, Evoluent, Hippus, Microdesk, Penclic, and Bakker Elkhuizen, were also there showing off both new and old products, Bakker even invested in a larger booth. We even showed off the new Koncept lights in the Prestige International Booth.
Like every year, Ergo Expo was a great experience and we saw a ton of new and old faces. We look forward to next year show and what it has in store.
Day one of Ergo Expo is in the books and it was a roaring success. We received a lot of good feedback in just the couple of hours the expo hall was open. People were really impressed with the Mousetrapper, Microdesk and Koncept lights among others.
Day one is always a good time to catch up with people you haven’t seen a while, in some cases since last year, over a few drinks.
Afterword we went out for our Prestige dinner at Trevi with all of our employees that made the trip and Sasha from Penclic. It was a great way to end the first day.
Today starts Day 2 of the show, come by booths 302-311 to check out all of our manufacturers.
Today starts the 2nd part of our moving process, moving the office space. We are uprooting from our Valley Stream office and making our way down Merrick Rd. to Lynbrook, but first we have to pack up and move everything from here.
Last week and over the weekend we started cleaning out our desks and packing up all of our supplies to make the move easier for the move this week. We are finishing that up today, because while many of us are in Las Vegas for Ergo Expo, the rest of the crew will be moving everything to the new offices.
When we get back on Monday we will be able to start working our of our new office. Its tough saying goodbye to a building that we have called home for over 20 years, but when one door closes, another opens and this new building will be great for Prestige’s growth.
We look forward to the move and all the great things that come with it.

If you read our last post you would know that we are changing warehouses and moving our shipping operations down to Florida. This new warehouse is larger and more up to date to accommodate the increase in business and orders that we have had over the last several months.
The moving trucks had arrived Sunday and the warehouse is now ready and operational. Sherry, Marc and Shorty all put in hard work and were able to get it up and running ahead of schedule.
This move was much needed as we have been in our old location since March of 1997. This location is a vast improvement over our old building, although with so much history in the old place it will be missed.
Our offices are currently still based in our old building until the end of the month, so stay tuned for Phase 2 of our move, when we change offices.
